Luxe Hawaii Wedding at the Four Seasons Resort

This venue DRIPPING in tropical luxury and romance!! The luxe Oahu Four Seasons Resort Hawaii wedding venue is oceanfront, timeless, and romantic – literally everything you could want for a tropical destination wedding in Hawaii!

The Venue

Wedding days at the Oahu Four Seasons Resort have to be some of my ALL TIME favorite days because of how picturesque, luxurious, and dreamy the experience is. The venue itself is located on a lagoon on Oahu’s West Side and offers a few different options for couples to choose from! Anything from a charming wedding Chapel overlooking the ocean, an expansive grass lawn that’s perfect for both ceremonies and receptions, and even gorgeous ballrooms for indoor celebrations.

The Couple:

Both Richard and Mish were about to give up on the dating pool in San Francisco right before they met…but on Friendsgiving Eve in 2015, they were brought together by Mish’s childhood friend/Richard’s roommate, Ian, at their apartment in the Mission of San Francisco. Surrounded by couples who were already preparing dishes together for Friendsgiving, Richard decided to ask Mish to cook something together by getting her attention with his fancy cookbook, The Food Lab by Kenji Lopez. He sneakily chose to make cinnamon buns which required a 12-hour cook time. They spent a whole day as each other’s sous chef, making sticky buns, while getting to know each other as they waited for the dough to rise for what seemed like 10+ times. And with that, Michard was born…! PS. They still make cinnamon buns every Thanksgiving!
