How to pull off a Hawaii Proposal

HIRE A PHOTOGRAPHER 

Usually one of the partner’s will reach out to me, let me know they love my work and want to hire me and my team! From there be sure to mention it is a SURPRISE PROPOSAL if you’re not already engaged. That way me and my team can set you up in a specific pose to surprise the other partner to the most genuine & raw natural reaction! A complete surprise!

TIPS TO CREATE A WHITE LIE ABOUT PLANS :’)

Some of the tips that one of the partners will say their doing photos for:

-it’s their anniversary so they don’t inspect anything

-they won a photoshoot giveaway

-for valentine’s, new years or just a holiday shoot

Some of their partners also tell them if they don’t want them to know about the shoot at all:

-We’re going to a very fancy dinner

-We’re going to go watch the sunset at the beach with a picnic

-Our friends want us to model for their clothing/brand line

For these white lies and to get them completely SURPRISED. I will be hiding in the bushes, behind a rock, crouched down so they don’t see me!

HIRE A EVENT OR PICNIC SET UP!

This is a bonus + luxury if you’re able to! Get a picnic + event set up. Maybe with some champagne to pop, charcuterie board and even some flowers to give your partner after asking for their hand in marriage. This is a great way to impress your other half.

PREP WHAT YOU’RE SAYING & GET YOUR SMOOTH TALK GOING:

The more you prepare, write what you’re going to say, rehearse it even and just mentally walk through it in your head, the less nervous you’ll be. So make sure you prep what you’re saying. I know it’s hard but try to stay calm, collected and cool in the moment.

GAME PLAN: Once you have all the details sorted make sure you let the event/picnic set up and photographer know your game plan what you envision so we can help you make that vision truly COME TO LIFE. Confirm timing, location, details so everyone’s on the same page!
