This Intimate Wedding at Haiku Gardens in Oahu, Hawaii was made possible after many changed wedding dates and changed venues because of Covid-19. Finally, these two were able to make their big day happen regardless!

The day started at the Laylow Hotel in Waikiki, where the bride and her bridesmaids got ready! We started early in the morning with a lot of coffee and dance parties while the girls got ready! Beauty Spell Hawaii did the hair and makeup for the bride and her bridesmaids and came up with this gorgeous natural glam look. The bride put her Casablanca Bridal lace wedding dress on and was the most beautiful bride! The bridesmaids wore beautiful mismatched blue bridesmaids dresses and looked so stunning together.

After everyone was ready, we drove down to Haiku Gardens for their wedding! Moani had the sweetest first look with her father, and then it was time for the wedding. We held the ceremony in the lush green garden at Haiku Gardens. It was a tropical wedding DREAM! Summer Reign Floral created the most beautiful floral arrangements and backdrop for the ceremony. The tropical flowers looked amazing with the lush green jungle and gorgeous mountains surrounding them!

They decided on an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family. They had loved ones fly in from all around the world to witness this special day. During their ceremony, both Moani & Jake were filled with tears expressing their love for each other and being able to commit to a lifetime relationship & marriage.

I am so proud of them. With covid, rescheduling, changing venues, and rain -they didn’t let anything stop them. All that mattered was getting to marry each other. Despite the odds they had their DREAM DAY and I got to capture it from start to end. So honored!

Moani the bride said, “COVID definitely threw a wrench in our original plans, however, Jake and I knew this day was ultimately about us and wanted to do everything in our power to make it happen. During all this, he told me, “we can’t change the wind, but we can adjust our sails.” We are so excited to make this event memorable and safe all at the same time, surrounded by our loved ones.”

Their day turned even more magical than they imagined. This Intimate Haiku Gardens wedding in Oahu was such a dream. I am so grateful to have captured Moani and Jake’s big day.
